María Emilia Correa Pérez


She was born in 1958. She is a lawyer from Los Andes University in Bogota, and has a Masters in Sociology from the New School for Social Research, NY.

Recognized as a leader in sustainability and enterpreneurship in Latin America and abroad, she is co-founder of Sistema B and investor at Empresas B. Member of the Management Teams at Córpora Group, Crepes&Waffles and Bancolombia Foundation. Some of her achievements are being a member of the jury at the 2016 Rolex International Awards, Leading Women in Environment Awards and 100 Female Leaders in Chile in 2013. She was also chosen as one of the 30 more recognized female intellectuals in Iberoamerica by ESGlobal in 2017. She is also a 2019 Fellow at Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative.
