SO 14001:2015
ISO 14011:2015 is an international standard, which establishes the guidelines for an environmental management system. This standard makes it possible to implement, maintain and continuously improve the internal and external requirements applicable to the company's electric power generation operation processes.
To date, Colbún is certified to ISO 45001.2015, managed by TUV Rheinland.
ISO 45001:2018
ISO 45001:2018 is an international standard, which establishes the guidelines for an occupational health and safety management system. This standard makes it possible to implement, maintain and continuously improve the internal and external requirements applicable to the company's electric power generation operation processes.
To date, Colbún is certified to ISO 45001.2015, managed by TUV Rheinland.

2022 - The Sustainability and Climate Change Agency acknowledged Colbún with the Blue Certificate, associated to Los Pinos Power Plant. Colbún was the first electricity generating company in Chile that received this recognition, for its sustainable water management.
Carbon Disclosure Project
2022 – The Carbon Disclosure Project, prestigious NGO international that divulges environmental management of companies, recognized Colbún’s report to CDP with the Administration category B in climate change and in water security.
