Fenix Power Perú

Colbún took control of Fenix Power Perú in 2015, owner of the Fenix thermoelectric power plant located in Las Salinas, Chilca district, 64 kilometers south of Lima.

It is strategically located close to the Camisea gas pipeline and the Chilca power substation, which allows generating power in a cost efficient manner.

Given its characteristics, this power plant is a strategic asset for the Peruvian electricity market, because it is one of the most efficient and the largest thermoelectric power plants in Peru.
